Genealogic­al society offers workshops

The Warren County Genealogic­al Society is again offering summer workshops on Wednesday afternoons from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Warren County Administra­tion Building, 406 Justice Dr. in Lebanon. This summer’s offerings are:

Beginning June 13th “Publishing a Family Book “by Dana Palmer.

For this workshop, attendees should come prepared with their own computer and book template pre-formatted.

■ June 20: “Tracking Family Footprints Using U.S. Land Records” by Debbie Large.

■ June 27: “Tips For Completing Lineage Society Applicatio­ns “by Jean Muetzel.

■ July 11: “RootsMagic Workshop “by Dana Palmer.

■ July 18: “German Handwritin­g” presenter to be announced.

■ July 25: “DNA Workshop” by Kathy Reed. Prior to workshop, have DNA tested and bring results.

■ Aug. 1: “Irish Research” by Kathe Edwards.

■ Aug 8: “Finding Records on Family Search” by Dana Palmer

The cost is $10 per workshop. Attendees are encouraged to bring laptops or smartphone­s to class.

Workshop books are available: $22 for unbound books, $27 for spiral bound books.
