Rise of the Superbombs, 8 PM on HIST; 11 PM on HIST; 2:02 AM on HIST:

This new two-hour special goes inside the often mind-boggling new world of futuristic convention­al warfare, a journey through the developmen­t of modern arsenals, with special attention paid to the critical turning points in technology in the years since World War II. There’s also a focus on both the most fearsome weapons currently in circulatio­n, as well as some of the armaments being developed.

Code Black, 10 PM on Ch. 7 and Ch. 12:

A medical emergency, resulting from a step team’s attempt to form a human pyramid, reunites Rox (Moon Bloodgood) with her former step-dancing coach in the new episode “Step Up.” Unresolved issues remain between the women. A teen mother’s possible need for a hysterecto­my prompts disagreeme­nt among some of the doctors. Marcia Gay Harden, Boris Kodjoe, Rob Lowe, Emily Tyra and Luis Guzman also star.

SIX, 10 PM on HIST; 1:02 AM on HIST:

Acting on new intel provided by Gina (Olivia Munn), the SEAL team travels to Bosnia, the next stop on their mission to either capture or kill the Prince, who was the mastermind behind the horrific attack on their former leader, Rip Taggart. Barry Sloane, Kyle Schmid, Juan Pablo Raba and Edwin Hodge also star in the new episode “Dua.”

Queen Sugar, 10 PM on OWN; 1 AM on OWN:

An excited Micah (Nicholas Ashe) looks forward to starting his new school, while Ralph Angel (Kofi Siriboe) is left feeling guilty after an encounter with Blue (Ethan Hutchison) in the new episode “Your Distant Destiny.” Charley (Dawn-Lyen Gardner) confides her secret plans to Nova (Rutina Wesley), who is struggling to come up with new material for her book. Elsewhere, Darla (Bianca Lawson) returns.
