Health foods store opening in Kettering

A Natural Foods Plus store, which includes “The Juice Caboose,” is coming soon to Far Hills Avenue in Kettering.

Natural Foods Plus has operated a store at 2901 Philadelphia Drive at Siebenthaler Avenue for more than two decades. The new store will be located at 3070 Far Hills Ave. (Ohio 48) just south of Dorothy Lane, in a strip retail center that also houses Big Sky Bread bakery and a Supercuts hair salon. The space previously housed a Click Camera (later Dodd Camera) store, but has been vacant for a few years.

The 2,000-square-foot store is scheduled to open around Sept. 1, and will hire about 17 employees, Natural Foods Plus founder Rick L. Poole told this news outlet Monday. Offering a health-food store and a juice bar under one roof offers “a two-in-one experience” for customers, Poole said.

Poole said he plans to expand Natural Foods “even further” after getting the new Kettering store up and operating.
