TOASTMASTERS PUBLIC SPEAKING CLUB: 7-8:30 p.m. at Fairfield Fire Station #32, 6540 Dixie Hwy, Fairfield. A self-paced club that helps teach you how to: Communicate with Confidence, Strengthen Leadership Skills, Improve Impromptu Speaking, Provide Constructive Feedback. Toastmasters International provides a safe and fun space to practice using your voice and a supportive and positive learning experience. They empower individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders. Meetings are on the first and third Thursday of every month.

The purpose of this group is to help job seekers navigate the uncertainties and challenges of the job market. This group provides opportunities to network, share contacts, share information and leads, and learn job search skills & strategies. Meetings are informal and open to anyone seeking a new job (whether you are unemployed, underemployed, or working but want to find another job).

NEGOTIATING FOR POSITIVE RESULTS: 8:30 a.m. at University of Dayton Center for Leadership, 1700 S Patterson Blvd, Dayton. People negotiate every day — with customers, vendors, colleagues, a boss or employees. Whether it’s allocating resources for a project, funding an initiative or agreeing on who will take on specific tasks, negotiation is at the heart of the process. This hands-on session offers a step-by-step guide to effective negotiation. You can begin to master skills to become a win-win negotiator.
