City police are investigating a “possible sexual assault” of a 17-year-old male Xenia High School student.

City police are investigating XENIA — a “possible sexual assault complaint” involving a Xenia High School student, according to a report taken the same day Xenia Community Schools placed an employee on paid leave.

Amy L. Dixon, an attendance officer at Xenia High School, was placed on leave Friday, pending an investigation, according to Wendy Planicka, spokeswoman for Xenia schools.

That same day, Xenia police began an investigation of alleged sexual battery, according to an incident report. This news organization had requested from Xenia police incident reports involving sexual allegations and Dixon.

Dixon, 31, of Xenia, has not been charged with any crime.

“We are investigating a case of inappropriate sexual contact,” said Xenia police Capt. Alonzo Wilson, who declined to name anyone connected to the investigation.

The incident report says police are consulting with the Greene County Prosecutor’s Office regarding any possible charges.

The investigation involves a 17-year-old male student as the alleged victim, according to the police report.

The incident was alleged to have happened in a parking lot in the 500 block of Newport Road sometime between Aug. 20 and Sept. 14, according to the police report.

“Because this is an active investigation, we cannot comment further,” Planicka said.

This news organization has requested the personnel file for Dixon.
