Ama­zon hir­ing driv­ers in Ohio for hol­i­day sea­son

With the ex­pected jump in on­line shop­ping this year, Ama­zon is will­ing to pay more than dou­ble min­i­mum wage in some parts of Ohio for de­liv­ery driv­ers.

The sea­sonal jobs in Colum­bus, pay $17.25 per hour.

In Eu­clid, near Cleve­land, a job post­ing of­fers $15.50.

There are no de­liv­ery post­ings for Day­ton and Cincin­nati, but Ama­zon has other jobs posted for a Prime Now as­sis­tant man­ager and as­sis­tant man­ager po­si­tions for mil­i­tary vet­er­ans in Cincin­nati and ware­house po­si­tions in Fairfield.

The jobs were up­dated three days ago, as the com­pany looks to bulk up its in-house de­liv­ery af­ter an­nounc­ing free de­liv­ery on more than 3 mil­lion items for non-Prime mem­bers with­out a min­i­mum pay­ment.
