Regional planners meet
The Warren County Regional Planning Commission is scheduled to review a handful of items in Clearcreek Twp. at Thursday’s executive committee meeting.
The committee is to consider two amendments to the Clearcreek Twp. zoning code on drainage. Also in Clearcreek Twp., the committee is to review a plan for 100 homes on 51.5 acres bordering Springboro and between Ohio 741 and Red Lion-Five Points Road. The committee is also reviewing plans for seven cluster mailboxes at the Country Creek subdivision and revisions to match the layout of the Villages At Winding Creek residential development in Clearcreek Twp. In addition, it is to consider a plan for Clearcreek Preserve, 16 homes on 41.3 acres on Springboro Road at Red Lion-Five Points Road.
In addition, it is to review construction of a wedding venue on 6.9 acres at 52 Stephens Road in Hamilton Twp. The land was recently rezoned B-2 General Business District with a PUD overlay. The applicant is proposing a 9,385 square foot structure with an occupancy load of 306 people. The committee will make a recommendation to the Hamilton Township Zoning Commission which forwards it to the Hamilton Township trustees.
In addition, the committee is to review a request for rezoning from residential to a planned unit development for a 62-home subdivision on 70 acres at 2260 N. Ohio 48 and rezoning from agricultural to residential of 45.4 acres at 1460 Glosser-Richardson Road in Turtlecreek Twp.
The committee is also scheduled to review proposed amendments to the rural zoning code. The amendments would change how development plans are reviewed by the county, regulations in mixed-uses zones, wedding facilities and event centers, community facilities and essential services and caretaker dwellings.
In Deerfield Twp., the committee will consider plans for residential development of a former driving range, putt-putt golf course and merchandise shop at the Cincinnati Golf Center at 7630 Columbia Road. The plan calls for 75 patio homes and three multi-family attached townhomes.
