■ The city of Centerville and Centerville Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 9550 will hold a ceremony starting at
11 a.m. Sunday at the Veterans Memorial at Stubbs Park, 255 West Spring Valley Road.
The program will include remarks from Mayor Brooks Compton and a keynote address from Col. Matthew Muha, Military Deputy Director of the Tanker Directorate, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), WrightPatterson Air Force Base.
The service will also include color guard presentations from Centerville VFW Post 9550 and the Centerville Police and Washington Township Fire departments’ honor guards. In addition, there will be musical performances by the Centerville Community Chorus and the Centerville Community Band, and a reading by Centerville High School student Yazmin Soulati. Cub Scout Pack 148 will lead the Pledge of Allegiance.
