and problem-solving skills learned in the arts are just as much a part of that equation as math and science.

In addition, a study by the University of Cambridge showed music education produces children who are markedly more compassionate and empathic, qualities sorely needed to make our communities more peaceful.

So, kudos to Lolli and may the band programs of DPS grow and multiply. As Michael Hauer, the founder of Hauer Music, said many years ago, “If they are blowing a horn, they are not blowing up a bank.” Play on, DPS musicians! Time Zone was moved from Ohio/Indiana border to the Indiana/Illinois border. For a period of time, Indiana had local county option and if you lived in Shelby County, which stayed on CST, and worked in Marion County (Indianapolis), which adopted EST, you changed time twice a day during your commute. Indiana really doesn’t belong in Eastern Time Zone. Farmers called it double daylight and drive-in theaters, which still existed, couldn’t begin their shows until around 10 p.m. such as limiting facilities that provide education, and birth control options abortions will continue. They will continue because they are sought when the mother’s health is a factor, when the pregnancy is caused by a rape, when the woman or family has severe financial problems, when the woman and/or family isn’t ready for the responsibility of a child, or because the woman wants to focus on her career time, etc. The bottom line is that it’s the woman’s choice.

Some religious groups have entered into the situation, but they will not stop abortions. There were abortions before Roe v. Wade and will continue to be, even if this law is overturned or limited.
