A Lancaster man died on the job Thursday after being trapped between two concrete forms.

Dispatchers received a call just before 10 a.m. from the E.C. Babbert Inc. plant in Lancaster requesting technical rescue for man stuck in machinery. The plant manufactures precast concrete products.

Hoyt McMaster, 59, of Lancaster, was transported to Fairfield Medical Center with traumatic injuries, according to Lancaster police.

Hoyt died of his injuries at the hospital later that morning. Drugs and alcohol are not suspected to be involved.
