A finished upper level gives this bungalow additional living space options, and an enclosed rear porch could be used year round.

Listed for $99,900 by RE/ MAX Solutions, the vinylsided story-and-half at 515 N. Main St. in Germantown has about 1,300 square feet of living space plus an unfinished basement. Located a couple of blocks from the downtown area, the property includes a onecar, detached garage and a deep private back yard. Brickwork accents the covered front porch, and a concrete driveway allows for several vehicles.

Formal entry opens from the porch into the living and dining room areas. Refinished hardwood flooring fills the main level, and textured walls are accented with wood molding. An arched walkway divides the two formal rooms as the dining room is the focal point to the house as the bedroom, kitchen and basement are accessible.

The kitchen has faux brick walls between oak cabinetry. Butcher-block countertops allow for work space and a double-sink is below a window. The kitchen is large enough for a small kitchen table and has vinyl flooring.

A door from the kitchen opens to the enclosed rear porch. The porch has several windows with screens, a tongue-and-groove ceiling and wood flooring. A single door opens from the porch to the back yard, which is surrounded by a wooden privacy fence. There is a storage shed, and a gate opens to the driveway. The garage has electrical service and has a slightly elevated storage bay to the rear.

The home’s full bathroom is accessible from the kitchen and a bonus room. The bathroom has a wood vanity with wood countertop and ceramic sink, a tub/shower with fiberglass surround and a knotty-pine, step-in linen closet.

The bonus room is also accessible from the dining room and could be set up as an office or sitting room to the first-floor bedroom. There is a closet in this room, and a door opens from this room into the bedroom, which also has a closet and front-facing window.

A hidden staircase is tucked off the bonus room and leads upstairs, which has been finished into two separate rooms. At the top of the staircase is a landing space which has a railing accenting the stairwell, a closet, a window and sitting space. A door opens from this open room into a possible second bedroom as this room has a closet and front-facing window.

Both rooms have hardwood flooring and angled ceiling treatment. The upstairs is part of the heating and cooling system as the house has a gas forcedair furnace and central air conditioning.

The basement has a concrete floor, storage options, the laundry hook-ups and mechanical systems.
