BUSINESS AWARDS
The Dayton Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) is the recipient of four marketing awards from the Ohio Association of Convention & Visitors Bureaus. The STAR Awards recognize and honor demonstrated marketing innovation and creativity in the diverse fifield of travel and tourism destination marketing and advertising.
In a competition against peers throughout Ohio, the Dayton Convention & Visitors Bureau was recognized for the 2018 Destination Dayton Visitors Guide, the 2017 Destination Dayton Annual Report, an “In the Mood for a Great Meeting Destination” direct mail campaign, and a “Take-Offff For Dayton!” digitalmarketing campaign targeted at aviation enthusiasts within a day’s drive of Dayton.
Jacquelyn Y. Powell, President & CEO of the Dayton Convention & Visitors Bureau, said, “Conventions and tourism represent economic development by bringing people and their money to our community and positively impacting the economic vitality of Dayton/ Montgomery County.”
Pick rel, Schaeffer & Ebeling, Co ., LPA announced that Michael W. Sandner has been selected as a 2019 Ohio Super Lawyer, as published in Ohio Super Lawyers magazine. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area.
This truly is an honor because each year, nomore than 5% of attorneys in the State of Ohio are selected. Sandner has been with the fifirm for 25 years and is current President of Pickrel, Schaeffer and Ebeling and a shareholder in the Firm’s Litigation Department. He concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial, construction, consumer and civil litigation. He is a cum laude graduate of the University of Dayton School of Law.
Sandner has been named an Ohio Super Lawyer Rising Star, winner of the Dayton Business Journal 40 under 40 award, 2003 graduate of Leadership Dayton and holds the highest rating with Martindale Hubbell. He is a member of the Dayton, Ohio and Federal Bar Associations, and member of the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys.
