Society hosts speaker

Dave Evans, former police/ fire chief of Clayton and longtime Randolph Twp. firefighter/ paramedic, will speak to the Randolph Township Historical Society on Wednesday. The public is invited to attend the short business meeting at the History Center, 114 Valleyview Drive, Englewood, at 1 p.m., and Evans will speak immediately after the meeting, at approximately 1:20 or a little after. Admission is free, and there will be refreshments and the chance to look at the Center’s displays after the speech.

The RTHS meets the second Wednesday of every month. Meetings are at 1 p.m. November through March and at 7 p.m. April through October. The History Center is also open to the public on the first and third Sundays of the month from April through October and at other times by appointment. Call 832-538.
