Dayton sign company plans Asia HQ
Dayton-based digital technology company Stratacache is opening an Asia-Pacific regional headquarters in Singapore, the company announced Monday.
Stratacache has some 350 employees in the Dayton region, with about 250 working within Dayton city limits.
The new 3,100-square-foot Singapore office will allow Stratacache to centralize operations and support for sales, marketing, development, services and customer support in the expansive region, the company said in a statement. All offices will report to Manish Kumar, Stratacache managing director and senior vice president of AsiaPacific Operations.
A designer and maker of digital signs and monitors for retail, restaurants and elsewhere, Stratacache said it is experiencing “rapid growth throughout the region.”
The company said it has “undergone a significant staff increase, to support corporate growth globally, including the acquisition and re-branding of an all-in-one intelligent computing and tablet device company, Scala China.”
Stratacache recently purchased the Kettering Tower and will make downtown Dayton’s tallest building the company’s new headquarters.
