Master Craft of Dayton announced that it has earned the home service industry’s coveted Angie’s List Super Service Award (SSA). This award honors service professionals who have maintained exceptional service ratings and reviews on Ang- ie’s List in 2018.

Service company ratings are updated continually on Angie’s List as new, verified consumer reviews are submitted. Companies are graded on an A through F scale in multiple fields rang- ing from price to profession- alism to punctuality.

Miami Valley Hospital and Atrium Medical Center have been recognized by Healthgrades® as being among the best hospitals in the country.
Miami Valley Hospital received a fourth consecutive America’s 100 Best Hospitals Award™ from Healthgrades. It was the only Dayton-area hospital to receive the award, which ranks it among the top 2 percent of hospitals in the country. Prior to 2016, the hospital ranked in the top 250 hospitals in the country for two years.
Additionally, Atrium Medical Center in Middletown earned the America’s 250 Best Hospitals Award™ from Healthgrades for a fifth consecutive year, meaning that the Middletown hospital continues to rank in the top 5 percent of hospitals in the nation.
Miami Valley Hospital also recently received Healthgrades’ “America’s 100 Best Hospitals” awards in five specialties: critical care (eight consecutive years); cardiac care (six consecutive years); stroke care (five consecutive years); and, for the first time, joint replacement and prostate surgeries.
The hospital in Dayton also received several excellence awards, including the Healthgrades Pulmonary Care Excellence Award™ (11 consecutive years), and was recognized as being in the top 5 percent of hospitals in the nation for cranial neurosurgery, among other specialties. Atrium Medical Center recently received the Healthgrades Critical Care Excellence Award™ for a sixth consecutive year and the Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Award™ for a fourth consecutive year. The hospital also was recognized as a Five-Star recipient in multiple specialties: esophageal/ stomach surgery, and the treatment of heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia, bowel obstruction, sepsis, and respiratory failure.
Upper Valley Medical Center in Miami County recently received a second consecutive Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Award and was named a FiveStar recipient for esophageal/ stomach surgeries and heart attack treatment.
Woolpert has received the 2019 Lidar Leader Award for Outstanding Enterprise Achievement, presented by the International Lidar Mapping Forum (ILMF) and Lidar Magazine. Woolpert was honored for its many high-level, pioneering contributions to the lidar industry in service, management and development since the technology was introduced.
The award was presented in Denver during Geo Week 2019, which hosted the three largest annual geospatial conferences in ILMF, the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) Conference, and the MAPPS Winter Conference.
Jeff Lovin, Woolpert senior vice president and director of Government Solutions, accepted the Lidar Leader Award on behalf of the firm. Lovin, who also was inducted as president-elect of ASPRS at Geo Week, thanked ILMF and Lidar Magazine for the honor.
