An open staircase and volume ceiling gives the main level of this two-story a spacious feel. Arched windows flank the gas fireplace of the great room and windows surround the bay-bump out of the breakfast room, allowing for views of the tree-lined back yard.

Tucked within a cul-desac of the Yankee Trace golf course community, this brick house at 1107 Charter Place is listed by Irongate Inc. Realtors and has about 3,540 square feet of living space. The property has a threecar, side-entry garage with extra parking pad, and there is a large wooden deck off the back.

The Yankee Trace homeowners association includes the use of walking trails, swimming pool, tennis courts, and a club house.

Formal entry opens into a two-story foyer with a sitting area to the left and a formal dining room to the right. Both rooms have oversized crown molding and the dining room has a bay-bump out. Oak hardwood flooring fills the foyer and continues into the dining room and wraps around to the central hallway. The staircase is spindle-accented and leads to the second floor where there are three bedrooms and a full bathroom.

One bedroom is a bay bump-out design while another bedroom has an 11-by-10-foot storage room. All the bedrooms have stepin closets.

The centerpiece to the home is the great room with a vaulted ceiling, arched windows and a gas fireplace. One wall has two built-in bookcases and a media case with glass doors. Off the great room and center hallway is the updated kitchen.

White cabinets fill nearly all the walls, and a combination of gray and dark granite countertops complement the white cabinetry. There is an island with a glass-cooktop, a double sink below a window, an appliance garage, microwave shelf, wall ovens, bottle racks and a planning desk. Double doors open into a pantry with built-in organizers. A peninsula counter divides the kitchen from the breakfast room which has five windows within its bay bump-out.

A glass door opens from the kitchen out to the rear deck. The kitchen has light gray wood laminate flooring.

Off the kitchen is a laundry room with hanging cabinets, a sink and folding counter. Access to the three-car garage is also off the kitchen.

On the opposite side of the great room are a half bathroom and the entrance to the first-floor main bedroom. The bedroom has a tray ceiling and double doors that open into the private bath. The bathroom has a double-sink vanity with makeup desk, a whirlpool tub with leaded-glass window above, a walk-in shower, a toilet room and a walkin closet with built-in organizers.
