Environmental leadership course
Partners for the Environment is looking for 10 community members to participate in a leadership development program in the Greater Dayton region. Participants will learn about local, state and federal environmental issues, challenges and opportunities, develop leadership and collaboration skills and build strong networks.
Each leader will be partnered with an experienced mentor. The program includes regular meetings, tours and classes as well as mentorship over the course of 12 months. The Greater Dayton Leaders Program is organized by Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce, Five Rivers MetroParks, Greater Dayton Conservation Fund of The Dayton Foundation, Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission, Miami Conservancy District, UpDayton and Partners for the Environment.
The Partners for the Environment is an alliance of environmental, government and civic organizations and public and private educational institutions.
These organizations share the common goal to protect, restore, preserve, and promote the environmental and agricultural resources of the Great Miami River and Little Miami River Watersheds – an 18-county region in southwest Ohio.
