Senior girls enjoy ‘tea’

-

More than 90 senior girls at Tippecanoe High School were celebrated along with their mothers during the 75th Senior Girls’ Tea held Thursday at Cedar Springs Pavilion.

The tea was put on every spring for years by the Civil Women’s Club. It later was taken over by members of the Community Minded Women, a group founded in 1975.

Although the tea is filled with tradition, it also has changed with the times. This year, for example, the event did not include a speaker. Instead there was a trivia game.
