Man shot in arm, leg near Residence Park

A man suffered gunshot wounds to his arm and leg, according to a woman who called 911 Saturday night as the man was being driven to a local hospital.

The gunshot victim was taken by private vehicle to a local hospital, but the shooting happened sometime before 9:45 p.m. near Elmhurst Road inside Residence Park, according to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center.

The 911 caller didn’t say who fired the shots.

”Somebody just started shooting and he got shot,” the caller said.

The victim’s name and condition were not immediately available. It also is not clear whether police have any suspect information.
