BOOK SALE: June 21, 3-8 p.m. at Dayton Metro Library - Northwest Branch, 2410 Philadelphia Dr., Dayton. Friends of the Dayton Metro Library used Book Sale is scheduled for Friday, June 21 and Saturday June 22, at the Northwest Branch Library. Current Friends of the Library members can gain early entry to the sale on Friday from 1-3 p.m. New members are welcome to join in advance online or at the door. The sale includes used books for children, teens and adults, as well as music movies and audio books. Most items have been weeded from the Library’s collection. All books will be $1 each; AV materials (CD’s, DVD’s) will be buy one, get one free.“Over the past few years , the Library has opened amazing new facilities in our area,” said Judy Day, President of the Friends. All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Dayton Metro Library.
