The Entrepreneurs Center (TEC) recently announced that Nucleus, the co-working solution powered by TEC, is moving from its current home at 444 East Second Street to the Kuhn’s building at 15 West Fourth Street in down- town Dayton. The Kuhn’s building is attached to TEC’s future home at The Arcade. The move signals continuing progress toward the development of The Arcade and its grand re-opening scheduled for late 2020.

Co-working solutions, including Nucleus, feature shared workspaces that offer a combination of subscriptions, day passes, and open houses to allow professionals access to a wide variety of resources. These resources typically include all the features of a conventional office, like desks, collaborative areas, meeting rooms, and even amenities like kitchens, break rooms, coffee and snacks.

Nucleus also prides itself on offering a supportive community with members who value of collaboration. Nucleus hosts multiple community-building events each month including Early Risers, Fourth Friday and Pints and ‘Preneurs, in partnership with TEC, Dayton Tech Guide, Downtown Dayton Partnership and Wright Brothers Institute (WBI), to name a few.

The move to the Kuhn’s building preempts TEC’s move to The Arcade as an anchor tenant together with University of Dayton. The joint venture between the organizations is aimed to further bolster entrepreneurial education and activity in the Dayton region. The two organizations will occupy just under 100,000 sq. ft. and have signed a 10-year lease. TEC’s space at The Arcade will offer co-working, as well as office rental for businesses from one to 20 employees, plus flexible meeting and conference space available to be reserved by members and the public.
