Credit union donates $12.5K to tornado relief

A local credit union pledged $12,500 toward tornado relief.

Abbey Credit Union, with locations in Troy and Vandalia, said in a statement today that $12,500 will be given out via gift cards to those who need help replacing food, goods or supplies lost as a result of the storms.

The Memorial Day tornadoes left a trail of damage in their wake, destroying homes and businesses and causing millions of dollars in damages.
