Robbers use gun at Marathon station

A robbery was reported at the Marathon gas station at 3905 N. Main St. about 6:05 a.m. Tuesday, which is the third time this gas station was targeted by robbers.

A man and woman entered the store and displayed a gun before leaving the scene in a dark-colored sedan, deputies said in a media release.

The robbers were able to make off with a small amount of cash and lottery tickets.

The woman was described as wearing a red, flat-billed baseball cap, camouflage sweatshirt, blue jeans and tennis shoes. The man was wearing gray sweatpants, a dark hooded sweatshirt, and brown shoes with red shoelaces.
