Shooting reported at Dollar General store

Police and a medic unit have been dispatched to a Dollar General store on the report of a shooting Wednesday evening.

The incident at 2228 N. Gettysburg Ave. was reported about 6:22 p.m.,according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.

Police shut down a section of North Gettysburg for the investigation, and there was a body covered by a sheet in the parking lot. ing to police.

Officers were requested to first block of Nassau Street, just north of Xenia Avenue around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, after a 911 caller asked police to check on his brother.

The man, whose identity was not released, was found dead outside a house, according to dispatch records.

Blood was found at the scene, however it does not appear that the man was shot or stabbed, according to police.

The man’s cause of death is still under investigation and will be determined by the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office. injuring a customer in process.

The woman, later iden- tified as Lisa Knisley, told police she wasn’t sure how she ended up at the restau- rant. About two hours later, police found Knisley’s SUV crashed into the side of the Mad River Early Childhood Center, 805 Old Harshman Road.

The SUV had plowed through the brick wall and damaged several windows and a water pipe, police said.

Police said Knisley smelled like an alcoholic drink at the Wendy’s when they met with her initially.

Knisley told police she had “smoked a small amount of marijuana and had two ‘crown and cokes’” earlier in the afternoon around 3:30 p.m. and didn’t remem- ber anything after that, the report read.

Knisley is expected to be in court on Oct. 15.
