Theft suspect nabbed near scene

Police were called to the business at 2550 Dryden Road in Moraine sometime around 8:40 p.m. Friday for a report of trespassin­g. Security enhancemen­ts alerted the owner of Target Tool.

Moraine police said there was a short foot pursuit, and a man was arrested at the Marathon station across the street.

The carjacking was reported around 11:30 a.m. in the 100 block of East Dayton Yellow Springs Road, said Fairborn police.

A woman said she was sit- ting in her car eating lunch when the man opened her car door, pulled her out of the car and drove away, police said. No weapons were displayed during the incident, and the victim was not injured.

Police are looking for the vehicle, described as a blue 2013 Honda CRV with Ohio license plate GXB 6500.

The SUV also has several bumper stickers on the back, police said.
