Police: Chats online not safe for kids

Police are warning parents to look out for a website that claims to be a safe chatting website for older teenagers.

The website, teen-chat. org, is a “stranger chat website” that advertises itself as a chat for teenagers when, in fact, it is not safe for children or teenagers, according to a statement from Westlake police.

A screenshot that Westlake police took of the page shows someone asking for inappropriate services from teenagers and children. Westlake is a Cleveland suburb.
