Bulk trash & yard waste sites

-

Currently, Republic Services has suspended all bulk trash and yard waste pickups due to COVID-19. However, Republic Services has provided, at no cost to the city, a large roll-off dumpster for residents to drop of large or bulk items, including yard and lawn waste that won’t fit into the trash carts for weekly pickup. Remember, all items need to fit inside the trash carts to be picked up.

The dumpster is located at the Public Works Facility at 7020 Brandt Pike and is open for Huber Heights residents ONLY Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please be mindful of social distancing.

The Yard Waste Site opened on Thursday, April 2, and remains open until Thursday, Oct. 29. Hours are Thursdays, 7:30-11:30 a.m. and the first Saturday of each month from 7:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. The city grinds the leaves and other collected debris to make quality leaf and wood mulch. During open hours, residents are encouraged to take the available wood chips and leaf compost material free of charge. The end loader operator will load pickup trucks with the wood chips or leaf compost. Only citizens with proof of residency are permitted to drop off acceptable yard waste material. NO contractors.
