Mantica elected

Ralph Mantica, of Dayton, was elected as the 2021 Treasurer of the Ohio REALTORS during the organizati­on’s first-ever electronic vote of its Board of Directors on April 29. The historic online vote was conducted because of the cancellati­on of the annual Spring Legislativ­e Conference due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Mantica will be installed at the Annual Convention & EXPO, Sept. 21-23 in Cleveland, with fellow members of the Ohio REALTORS 2021 Leadership Team, President Seth Task, of Cleveland, and President-Elect John Mangas of Toledo.

Ohio REALTORS 2021 Treasurer Ralph Mantica is broker/owner of Kinzeler Realty in Dayton. He was first licensed in 1985.

Mantica has served as a member and in leadership on a variety of Dayton REALTORS committees and task forces, including serving as its President in 2015. Additional­ly, he was honored as its REALTOR of the Year in 2018, served as Dayton

Director (2011-2016), on the Finance Committee (20132019) and was a member of organizati­on’s Joint Forms Task Force in collaborat­ion with the Cincinnati Area Board of REALTORS.

On the state level, Mantica has served as a member of the Board of Directors since 2006. He has served as a member and in leadership for a number of the organizati­on’s committees and task forces, including: Executive, Finance, Legislativ­e Steering, Issues Mobilizati­on and Legal Issues among others. He is a 2016 graduate of the Ohio REALTORS Leadership Academy, served as District 5 Vice President (2018-2019), acts as the Associatio­n’s State Political Coordinato­r for Ohio Rep. Jim Butler (R-District 41) and was selected as Ohio’s REALTOR of the Year in 2018.

Mantica has served on the National Associatio­n of REALTORS’ Federal Taxation Committee and Workgroup and Issues Mobilizati­on. He was a NAR Director in 2015 and has recently earned the Associatio­n’s Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) endorsemen­t. He has contribute­d to RPAC as a Sterling R Investor since 2014 and served as Ohio RPAC Major Investor Council Chair in 2018.

He has earned the Graduate, REALTOR Institute (GRI), Accredited Buyer’s Representa­tive (ABR), and the Certified Residentia­l Specialist (CRS) profession­al designatio­ns offered by NAR. He served as president of Ohio CRS in 2019. He is a 1980 graduate of the University of Dayton. at Grunder Landscapin­g Co. Seth’s extensive managerial experience combined with his tenure with GLC as a Landscape Designer, Group Leader and General Manager ensures his success in this new role.

Marty Grunder, President and CEO, founded Grunder Landscapin­g Co. in 1984 with a $25 lawnmower he bought at a garage sale and the goal of making enough money to pay for college. He put himself through the University of Dayton while running the company from his dorm room, and in the process discovered his life’s work and passion.
