The Happy Days of Garry Marshall, 8 PM on Ch. 22 and Ch. 9: Writer-producerdi­rector Garry Marshall, who died at age 81 in 2016, is fondly remembered by family and friends in this new two-hour special, which celebrates Marshall’s remarkable career as the creator behind such popculture TV hits as “Happy Days,” “Laverne & Shirley” and “Mork & Mindy,” as well as such movie blockbuste­rs as “Pretty Woman” and

“The Princess Diaries.” Sharing their memories are former “Happy Days” costars Ron Howard, Marion Ross, Henry Winkler, Don Most and Anson Williams, and “Pretty Woman” colleagues Julia Roberts and Richard Gere, among many others.

For Life, 10 PM on Ch. 22 and Ch. 9: In the Season 1 cliffhange­r finale “Fathers,” Maskins and Cyrus Hunt (Boris McGiver, guest star Chance Kelly) move to thwart Aaron’s (Nicholas Pinnock) attempt to win a retrial, forcing him into a desperate move that, in turn, risks the wrath of a powerful new adversary. Elsewhere, the election comes to a head as Safiyah (Indira Varma) tries to warn Aaron that he now has a target on his back. Joy Bryant and Mary Stuart Masterson guest star.

House Hunters, 10:01 PM on HGTV; 1:01 AM on HGTV: A cross-generation­al battle threatens to ignite in the new episode “Mother Knows Best in Kentucky,” as a first-time buyer in Covington, Ky., has her mind set on finding an old, single-family house with character. Her mother, however, is convinced that daughter dearest isn’t considerin­g how much work goes into maintainin­g such a home. In short, she thinks it could be too much to handle and wants her to consider purchasing a condo instead.
