In addition to curbside pickup of books and other librarymaterials, DaytonMetro Library (DML) staff will nowmake copies, send faxes, scan and print for curbside pickup, too. Curbside Services are available at all Dayton Metro Library locations, Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Patrons who want to use curbside copy/fax/scan/print services must make arrangements in advance by calling the AskMe Line at 937-463-2665.
“Our Curbside Services are designed to accommodate peoplewho areworking hard to help slowthe spread of the Coronavirus by avoiding unnecessary contact with others, or who cannot wear a mask,” said Rachel Gut, Deputy Director of the Library. Masks covering the nose and mouth are required inside all DaytonMetro Library buildings, for ages 6 and older.
Curbside pickup of reserved or requested Library materials has been available at allDMLlocations since June. Now, with advance arrangements, patrons can drop off originals to be copied, faxed or scanned, along with payment, and wait curbsidewhile the job is completed. Staff will accept payment and the items to be copied, faxed or scanned, then return the originals, copies or prints, and any paperwork that shows the task has been performed.
Wireless printing allows patrons to send print jobs directly from their computer, tablet or phone to the Library of their choice. Instructions can be found at DaytonMetroLibrary.org/mobileprint.
