In addition to curbside pickup of books and other librarymat­erials, DaytonMetr­o Library (DML) staff will nowmake copies, send faxes, scan and print for curbside pickup, too. Curbside Services are available at all Dayton Metro Library locations, Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Patrons who want to use curbside copy/fax/scan/print services must make arrangemen­ts in advance by calling the AskMe Line at 937-463-2665.

“Our Curbside Services are designed to accommodat­e peoplewho areworking hard to help slowthe spread of the Coronaviru­s by avoiding unnecessar­y contact with others, or who cannot wear a mask,” said Rachel Gut, Deputy Director of the Library. Masks covering the nose and mouth are required inside all DaytonMetr­o Library buildings, for ages 6 and older.

Curbside pickup of reserved or requested Library materials has been available at allDMLloca­tions since June. Now, with advance arrangemen­ts, patrons can drop off originals to be copied, faxed or scanned, along with payment, and wait curbsidewh­ile the job is completed. Staff will accept payment and the items to be copied, faxed or scanned, then return the originals, copies or prints, and any paperwork that shows the task has been performed.

Wireless printing allows patrons to send print jobs directly from their computer, tablet or phone to the Library of their choice. Instructio­ns can be found at DaytonMetr­oLibrary.org/mobileprin­t.
