Q. Whatis your current role? A. Secretary to the Assistant Superinten­dent ofSchools and Operations­Department

Q. Additional­work experience­s: A. Secretary for theOffices of HumanResou­rces, Curriculum and Instructio­n, andTitle I. Building Secretary for the Early Learning Center, Madison Park Elementary, Broadmoor Elementary, and Clerical Support forTrotwoo­d-Madison Middle School.

Q. Whatis your greatest achievemen­tso far?

A. Returning to college after being out of school for22years and earning an associate’s degree. Iwanted to showmyself­andmy family that it’s never too late to learn.

Q. Whatis yourwork philosophy? A. Showup, be present, do yourbest every single time. Be profession­al, but listen toyour heart. I strive tomake a positive difference and impact on the students, parents and staffat Trotwood-MadisonCit­ySchools.

Q. Whowould you love tomeet andwhy?

A. FormerPres­ident Barack Obamaand First Lady Michelle Obamabecau­se they are historical­ly significan­t people. Whenthey speak or present, their content is relatable, inspiring and impression­able.

Q. Whatis your first priority?

A. I love, love, love being with myfamily. I tellthemas often as possible that it is a privilege to be in each other’s lives andwe should never take it lightly.

Q. Whatare your hobbies?

A. Crafting, sewing and reading whenever time allows.

Q. Final thoughts:

A. The Community of T rot wood canbe proud to knowthat there are staff members who are 100% invested in ensuring that their children are learning. Many staff members retire and return to work in the district. To me, that’s impressive andvaluabl­e.
