McMurry joins Dayton Aerospace Inc.

Retired Lt. Gen. Robert McMurry Jr. has joined Dayton Aerospace Inc. as an executive vice president and board member.

McMurry retired as com

of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in May. In that role, he was responsible for the life cycle management of the Air Force’s $258 billion portfolio of aircraft, engines, munitions, electronic, computer, network, cyber and agile combat support systems.

He also served as interim commander of Air Force

Command (AFMC) and program executive officer for the Air Force Rapid Sustainment Office (RSO),

of which are based at Wright-Patterson.
