McMurry joins Dayton Aerospace Inc.

Retired Lt. Gen. Robert McMurry Jr. has joined Dayton Aerospace Inc. as an executive vice president and board member.

McMurry retired as com

of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in May. In that role, he was responsibl­e for the life cycle management of the Air Force’s $258 billion portfolio of aircraft, engines, munitions, electronic, computer, network, cyber and agile combat support systems.

He also served as interim commander of Air Force

Command (AFMC) and program executive officer for the Air Force Rapid Sustainmen­t Office (RSO),

of which are based at Wright-Patterson.

and AFRL (the Air Force Research Lab), as well as his unique expertise gained as the program executive officer of the USAF’s Rapid Sustainmen­t Office and his extensive space and MDA (Missile Defense Agency) experience, will be invaluable to our government and industry customers as they navigate the Air Force’s new era of digital transforma­tion.”
