Dayton Realtors president installed
Dayton Realtors swore in the 2021 officers and directors during a “virtual” Realtors Installation program Jan. 14. The highlight of the event was the inauguration of Sharon Geier as president of the 3,000-member association.
Geier, a Realtor with Irongate Inc., has been a Realtor at Dayton Realtors since 1986. In 2019 she was elected as Dayton Realtors treasurer and served as the chairperson of the finance committee; in 2020 she was president-elect and oversaw several committees and projects.
“I am truly honored to have this opportunity to serve as Dayton Realtors president for 2021,” Geier stated during her inauguration. “My overall vision for this year will be to improve member engagement, take advantage of newer technologies to support buyers and sellers, encourage community outreach through our many projects, and continue to work with local agencies and government bodies to promote homeownership issues.”
Other board officers installed include Billie Duncan-Hart, president-elect, and Greg Blatt, treasurer. Associated with Coldwell Banker Heritage,
Duncan-Hart has been a Realtor since 1993. Blatt, associated with The Blatt Group with Keller Williams Advantage, has been a Realtor for 30 years.
Members elected or reelected to the Board of Directors are Kelly McCormick, associated with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Professional Realty; Guy Roth, associated with Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate Big Hill; Jeff Spring and Heather Zimmaro, associated with Coldwell Banker Heritage; Eric Brown, associated with EB Real Estate; David Dickinson, associated with NAI Bergman, and Lisa Terry with Home Services
Title. Barbara Waddell, associated with Irongate Inc., has been appointed to serve a one-year term.
Realtors who are serving unexpired terms on the Board of Directors are Pat Corle and Joe Willen, associated with Home Experts Realty; Jeff Owens, associated with Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate Big Hill; Karen O’Grady, Jennifer Moore and Kunal Patel, associated with Coldwell Banker Heritage; and Deborah Sasser, associated with Sasser, Realtors.
Sham Reddy, associated with HER Realtors, will continue to serve on the board as immediate past-president.
