Friday voting deadline
Friday is the deadline for final voting for the 2020 Best of Warren County Awards.
Hosted annually by the Warren County Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Best of Warren County Awards serve to recognize the many local shops, restaurants, events and attractions that make Warren County – known as Ohio’s Largest Playground destinations.
The awards, which feature more than 20 unique categories covering everything from dining establishments to festivals and events, began in late January with a twoweek nomination phase. That initial phase garnered a record number of nominations, which were then tallied and used to name finalists across each award category.
Locals and Warren County regulars are now invited to vote for those finalists today through March 5 on OhiosLargestPlayground.com. Winners will be announced on a date to-be-determined following the final voting window.
While the travel and leisure industries were hit particularly hard by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the WCCVB still felt it was important to highlight the county’s numerous tourism-related businesses through this year’s award process.
“Last year, 2020, was unprecedented in its difficultly, but there was still plenty worth celebrating here in Ohio’s Largest Playground,” said Phillip S. Smith, WCCVB president & CEO. “These awards are our way of honoring the outstanding effort so many of our local businesses put forth last year, and to drum up some excitement for what should be a much better and brighter 2021.”
