High school drama event

- STAFF REPORT

This weekend, the Franklin High School Drama Club will present three performances of “Chicago” (High School Edition), at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday. All performances will be in Franklin High School’s McDade Auditorium, 750 E. 4th St.

Convicted and sent to death row, Roxie and another “Merry Murderess,” Velma Kelly, vie for the spotlight and the headlines, ultimately joining forces in search of the “American Dream”: fame, fortune, and acquittal.

Tickets are $10 for adults; $8 for seniors; and $5 for students. Seating is limited to 240 per performance due to current health and safety restrictions, and must be purchased online at fhsdrama. booktix.com.
