CertaSite continues making acquisitions

-

CertaSite, a commercial fire protection and life safety company, announced that it has acquired Craynon Fire Protection, an established fire protection company that serves Dayton and the surrounding areas. The acquisition is CertaSite’s fifth in Ohio.

CertaSite provides a high level of customer service, responsiveness, building safety and code compliance to customers across the Midwest.

CertaSite is led by CEO Jeff Wyatt, who has more than 30 years of experience in the fire protection and life safety industry. He most recently served as president of one of the Midwest’s largest privately owned fire and security companies in the industry.

A well-known fire protection business with 20 years rooted in Dayton and more than 40 years of combined industry experience, Craynon has extensive experience in providing services for fire sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers, kitchen hoods, suppression systems, and emergency lighting solutions to their customers. Craynon’s solid reputation in the region will allow the company to grow its customer base and expand into new markets under the CertaSite umbrella.

With the close of the acquisition, 22 employees are joining the CertaSite family. Craynon’s owners Ron Caplinger and Tom Doty will remain with the company in new roles, while current CertaSite District Manager Brian Cooper will oversee office management.

In addition to Craynon Fire Protection, CertaSite already has acquired 13 fire protection and life safety companies and is actively engaged in bringing new businesses under the CertaSite umbrella.
