New airport service to make eating easier
Travelers at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport now can order food for delivery or pickup anywhere inside the terminal, including both sides of security checkpoints. Fraport USA, which operates the concessions at the airport, has dubbed the new program GateWaiter Mobile Meal Delivery Service.
After ordering online or by scanning a QR code, travelers can designate whether they want food for pickup or delivery, then eat while wait for a flight. The service is also being introduced at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, with plans to expand to others.
