Riverside City Council names new City Manager
Riverside City Council named re s ident Joshua Rauch as the new city manager at the October 7th city council meeting. Council vote was unanimous for the appointment. Rauch was sworn in at the October council meeting.

Rauch, a seven-year resident of Riverside, is a Dayton-area native. He attended Carroll High School and the University of Dayton before earning a Masters’ Degree in Public Administration from
University of Kansas. He has seven years of direct community and economic development experience working for cities in Kansas
Ohio. Over the last seven years, Rauch has served as a local government consultant, conducting more than 90 assessments in communities across 23 states.
Rauch states that as a resident he is familiar with the opportunities and challenges the City has faced in recent years along with some new developments that fortify the City’s economic and cultural climate. He looks forward to deepening relationships with citizens and institutions that shape the community and collaborate to strengthen the City as an attractive and inviting place both now and in the future.
Rauch is an active member of International City/ Council Management Association, the Ohio City/County Management Association, and the American Public Works Association.
