Smith honored
David A. Smith, CFP®, partner of Smith, Moses and Company, an independent financial planning firm in Beavercreek, was recently awarded the prestigious 2020 Roland Bierria Memorial Award by Financial Services Corporation (FSC) at their national Leaders Retreat. In honor of Mr. Bierria, the FSC Supervision staff created the Roland Bierria Memorial Award to annually identify one advisor that both honors Roland’s legacy and represents the best in the financial services industry and FSC. Bierra was a Regional VP, and all within the FSC family knew him for his professionalism, openness, happy and always smiling personality. Smith was humbly honored and surprised to be announced as the recipient of this Award. For Smith, the award is particularly special being an award that stems out of the FSC office supervisory staff who are part of the backbone of FSC.
