Superman & Lois, 8 PM on Ch. 26: After Clark’s (Tyler Hoechlin) visions intensify during heated arguments with both his sons (Jordan Elsass, Alex Garfin), Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch) reaches out to her father, Ret. General Lane (Dylan Walsh), for help in “The Thing in the Mines,” a new episode directed by Gregory Smith (“Rookie Blue”). Meanwhile, Natalie (Tayler Buck) is dismayed to discover her father (Wolé Parks) didn’t keep a promise he made to her, and Lana (Emmanuelle Chriqui) vents her own frustratio­ns to Kyle (Erik Valdez).

Abbott Elementary, 9 PM on Ch. 22 and Ch. 9: In the new episode “Student Transfer,” Janine (Quinta Brunson) is shaken when she gets a negative teacher review, but her mood improves when a student is transferre­d from Melissa’s (Lisa Ann Walter) class into hers. All too soon, though, it becomes obvious the newcomer is surprising­ly high maintenanc­e. Elsewhere, Jacob (Chris Perfetti), who catches a lot of abuse from his students, has little luck striking up a friendship with Gregory (Tyler James Williams) until they bond over a way to turn the roasting to their advantage.

Beyond Oak Island, 10:03 PM on HIST; 2:06 AM on HIST: This spinoff series continues its fourth season with “The 1715 Treasure Fleet Part 2,” which finds Matty Blake, research partner to brothers Rick and Marty Lagina, heading back to Florida’s famed Treasure Coast. Upon arrival, he teams up with profession­al treasure salvager John Brandon and his team as they begin a dive on the wreckage of the famed 1715 Spanish Treasure Fleet, which was lost to a hurricane off the Florida coast while en route from Cuba back to Spain.
