Preschool continues Five-Star status

Xenia Preschool once again received a Five-Star Step Up to Quality rating from the Ohio Department of Education, the highest possible rating available. This tiered rating system recognizes and promotes early learning and development programs that meet quality standards over and above health and safety requirements. Xenia Preschool has been a Five-Star Step Up to Quality School since 2015, and during the most recent evaluation, received high marks for critical components such as: implementing a purposeful and developmentally appropriate curriculum

that meets the needs of all children, having a robust screening process that incorporates two-way dialogue and feedback with our families, and ensuring that teaching staff have critical Early Education qualifications, including those with degrees in special education with a preschool endorsement.
