Woman says she was shot in the mouth in bedroom

A woman was shot in the mouth early Friday morning in Dayton.

According to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center, the shooting was reported in the 2900 block of Tubman Avenue around 3:50 a.m.

The woman called 911 and said she had been shot in the mouth, but told dispatchers she didn’t know the shooter’s name or if she was still on scene.

Police said the victim “stated she and her boyfriend were in her bedroom when an undescribed female opened the window from the outside and started shooting.”
