New Lange principal

Oakwood Schools recently announced that Suzanne Batten will be the district’s next special education supervisor and Lange School principal.

Batten brings a wealth of educational experience, working in special education and educational leadership for Miami County Educational Service Center, Bethel Local Schools and, most recently, Trotwood Madison City Schools.

“I would like to thank Trotwood Madison City Schools for the support, teamwork and relationships that were built in my time there. The district has a strong group of educators who are resilient in their work toward student success,” Batten said.

In addition to her role as special education coordinator and preschool supervisor in Trotwood, Batten is also an adjunct professor at Wright State University.

Batten takes over for Frank Eaton who will be transitioning to his new role as the district’s operations coordinator/business manager this summer.
