Ch. 48: “Aquaman” star Jason Momoa, the son of a Native Hawaiian himself, makes a fitting narrator for “Waterman — Duke: Ambassador of Aloha,” an illuminating profile of five-time Olympic medalist Duke Kahanamoku, who shattered records as a swimmer and helped bring surfing to the world. While justifiably revered in his native Hawaii, however, Kahanamoku is far less well known to the world at large, partly because of the rampant racism he battled during his lifetime. Interviews include musician Jack Johnson and surfers Kelly Slater and Carissa Moore.
