Preschool enrolling

Enrollment is now open for Sophia Learning Center (SLC), a new Christ-centered preschool in Kettering. Operated by a family of teachers, Sophia Learning Center opened its doors to families in 2019, and currently accepts students ages 3 to 5 for a full day of instruction and fun from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The school year runs from August to May and summer camp is offered in June and July.

On Thursday, May 26, families will be able to come out and meet the staff, learn more about Sophia Learning Center, its programs and schedule a tour at the school’s inaugural Gospel on Skates – Family Night and skating party at Orbit Fun Center (5001 Nebraska Ave., Huber Heights). This event will bring out over 200 people for great music by a range of gospel artists, a family-friendly skating environment for all ages, raffles, games and performances by local gospel artists.

Tickets for Gospel on Skates – Family Night are $10 and that includes skate rental and entry. Concessions will be available separately for purchase.
