Center bids opened
The Miami County commissioners Tuesday opened four bids submitted for the county One Stop Center for vehicle-related agencies. The commissioners said they were pleased all bids were below that project’s estimate.
The county plans to build the center off Ohio 55 west of Interstate 75 in Troy. The center would house agencies including the deputy registrar, drivers exam station, county auto title and the Ohio State Highway Patrol vehicle programs.
The project’s budget recently was estimated at $7,252,900. Bids ranged from $6,270,000 to $6,923,000 and will be evaluated before a recommendation on the contractor will be made to the commissioners.
