Lana Wachowski’s

2021 installment in the blockbuster “Matrix” franchise, which underperformed at the box office, although critics and fans alike praised the performances by an impressive cast. Taking place 60 years after the third film, “The Matrix Revolutions,” the story follows Neo (Keanu Reeves), whose seemingly mundane life as a video game developer is disrupted by a programmed version of Morpheus (now played by Yahya AbdulMateen II). Carrie-Anne Moss, Jonathan Groff and Neil Patrick Harris co-star.
