Perkins honored

Day Air Credit Union announced that Monica Perkins, Real Estate Lending Officer, was recognized by Marketrac as the Top Loan Originator in Montgomery County.

As a Real Estate Lending Officer, Perkins originates mortgages and manages relationships with existing, new, and potential members in the Miami Valley. In 2021, she ranked as the Top Loan Originator in Montgomery County with over $47.2 million in loan volume and 317 units sold.

In 2021, Day Air saw growth in several key areas, including its mortgage loans. Day Air helped more first-time homebuyers than ever, providing more than $131 million in first mortgages. As a proud Community Development Financial Institution, Day Air also provides responsible, affordable lending to low-wealth communities in the Miami Valley.

Perkins has over 18 years of varied financial industry experience and has served in a variety of roles, including Member Service, Assistant and Branch Manager, Mortgage Loan Consultant, Mortgage Loan Underwriter, and currently Real Estate Lending Officer.
