Museum open house

The Tippecanoe Historical Society will host an open house at the museum at Third and Walnut streets from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 21.

The open house is being held to welcome home the Iron Dog, which stood over his young master’s grave in Maple Hill Cemetery and then at his family’s farm on County Road 25A, where he stood for more than 100 years. The dog statue has been repaired and now calls the museum home.
