Warren Official appointed

Karisa Steed was appointed as Franklin’s new assistant city manager.

Steed had been serving as an assistant to the city manager since May 2018 and has focused on Franklin’s economic development efforts.

She was sworn-in to her new office at Monday’s meeting of Franklin City Council by Mayor Brent Centers.

Her new salary will be $89,039 a year. Steed is a graduate of The Ohio State University and was a scholar-athlete. She has also worked as a senior program director for

the Great Miami Valley YMCA.
